According to Chinese philosophy two opposing forces, the yin and the yang, co-exist interdependently to make up universal existence. You cannot have one without the other. So it seems in many aspects of life that you cannot have the good without the bad and vice-versa. Life, death, love, hate, peace, war all intermingled in equilibrium. Would we be able to recognize peace without war? War without peace? Would we recognize the gloriousness of a thriving, new alternative community of music based... A collection of 11 tracks plus one sampler. That’s two bonus tracks on top of the standard 10 track line-up! Whoa! Crazy! Here’s another fresh netBloc release for you to soak in. As always… it was a challenge to pull together and it underwent a serious overhaul when it became clear that an artist and a label weren’t as serious about the release as I was. Finally, when all is said and done… this release is 1000% better because of the replacement tracks and new play order. Thanks to you artists who were contacted at the last minute and came through with the required info and assets! It all started sometime last year with a friend of mine, Rob Pitt , saying that he’d love it if there were a “minimal” netBloc release. However, with the netBloc series being about variety, I felt that I couldn’t release something so narrowly focused on one sub-genre. If I were to put together something remotely like that, it had to be something more varied. I decided to begin slowly pulling together instrumental netaudio gems as I came across them while developing other netBloc... Their song “Black Paint” wound up being featured on “netBloc Vol. 5: The... Topics: blocsonic, maxbloc, garmisch, tha silent partner, march rosetta, daniel maze, sweden, electropop,...

First and foremost, I’d like to send out an extra special thank you to all artists and netlabels who, over the years, have been part of our story through the netBloc series . When I first had the idea to begin this series in 2006, I really had no idea if anyone would be interested in being included on such a compilation series. I surely had no idea whether or not the listeners would come. Thankfully, the response was great and that has allowed us to build on that with our original release... From the beginning, they’ve put together a mixture of influences and ideas, however, they’re still trying to find their... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: blocsonic, garmisch, sweden, electropop, electro-pop, free, music, freemusic, ccmusic, creative...
